NANDKISHORE GUPTA
A man of the second generation,
is moving force behind the success of the manufacturing activities
in the Gupta Group of Companies. Until he joined his father in the
textile Trading activity in the year 1970, he had several important
assignments including that of General Manager of Sajjan Silk Mills,
Ratlam (A Birla Group Of Company) for more than eight years. He also has to his credit ,
overseas assignments in Singapore & Hong Kong. He inherits from his
father the qualities of care, caution and entrepreneurial skill
coupled with conventional approach. Although back - benched at the
moment he exercises considerable string - pulling and is the final
authority on all major business decisions. But due to old age, he
has retired himself from the routine activities of the business in
the year 1999.
- SHRI SHYAMSUNDER GUPTA
He is the man, aged around 50 Years,
on whom the arc lights are focused now. He is ranked as the top
brain behind the success of Gupta Group. His brain is considered as
the birth place where majority of technical ideas have emerged. He
believes in very sensible management philosophy. He believes in
motivating each person at whatever rung of the ladder he is to try
and better his counterpart. He is looking after overall Group
activities in the area of diversification strategies planning and
also exploring the activities of Imports and Exports of the Group of
Companies. He is a committee member of South Gujarat Chamber of
Commerce, Gujarat Textiles Processors Association, Ahmedabad Textile
Industrial Research Association, Ahmedabad and Man Mad Textile
Research Association, Surat
- SHRI PRAKASH GUPTA
He is the second rung of the ladder in third
generation line. Just as his father not only he has graduate himself
in the Arts and Law faculties. He has even chosen and mastered the
marketing side of the group's products. According to him, the
spectacular growth that the group have been able to achieve is
largely a result of our well- planned and executed corporate and
marketing branches with appropriate employment of man power. He
says, we have never hesitated to take on new challenges and have
always been alert to the changing business environment and quick to
respond to new customer needs with innovative new products and
schemes. He is man of marketing and look after Group Finance &
implementation work of new Denim Project coming up in Ahmedabad in
the name
of AVIVA Industries Ltd.
- SHRI MOHAN GUPTA
Third in third line generation, aged around 46
years, he contradicts his academic achievements in science faculty
to achieving with remarkable degree of success, acumen in the
administrative, financial and accounting wings of the Gupta Group.
He says, the degree of decentralization at all level of work has
greatly contributed to the timely preparation and submission of
various statements, accounts, information and documents, which has speeded the
financial sanctions and other facilities to the group in such manner
may not be possible. He is looking after the entire new Spinning (POY)
plant at Dadra (Silvassa), Taking administrative decision of the whole
commercial activities, marketing of the finished products of the
Company, managing Bank activities of the Group Company's. He is also
supervise the implementation work of SAP implementation & further expansion of
existing Spinning POY lines.
- SHRI SUNIL GUPTA
Youngest in the third line generation he is based
in Ahmedabad. He is the Brain of Spinning and Texturise unit. He is
mainly looking after the full fladge activities of Nova
Petrochemicals Ltd. having Spinning (POY) and Texturise unit having
its own captive power plant. He assisted to irrect and installed
second plant of Gupta Group at Silvassa (D.N.H.) and for further
expansion of same plant. He is now taking the full charge of
implementation work on new Denim project coming near Ahmedabad.
